Due to the installation of adsense mangement for wordpress requires Widgets to be enabled, I strike to find a simple but nice template, and finally I think k2 doesn’t the job.

From installation to ready to use, I just spend less than 5 minutes. I like the widgets, this feature give you the maximum flexibility to modify your template without touching the code.  To reorder the module,  you just need to drag and place them.

Last thing I want to point out is the wp-cache. I think this is new feature of wp2.0, because I didn’t see it in previous version. Wordpress works faster after this is enable. Wp-cache will cache the whole page,  so server will use the cached files (static page) to response to apache, instead of query the database to build a new dynamic page. However, this feature isn’t like the cache which works in joomla, because joomla seperate cache by modules and articles. If modules cache wasn’t enable, then modules still be able to query the database and update some dynamic content. This simply means you have more freedom to control the way that system cache the page.

Due to this fact, I think Joomla’s cache is slightly better than wordpress’s.

NOT much function at the back end, after filling in your adsense account, you go directly to manage -> ads , set adsense layout. and that’s it. see how it looks now.
